Description
Description
A livewell pump has to run for hours in salt water and still start every time. The Shurflo Bait Sentry uses a magnetic drive, so there is no shaft seal to wear out or leak, and it can run dry without harm. This model moves 500 gallons per hour to keep bait lively.
Why anglers choose it
- Magnetic drive: no shaft seal to leak, and debris cannot reach the motor
- Can run dry continuously without damage
- Anti-airlock clears trapped air in rough water or at anchor
- Second inlet port feeds a washdown pump, so one thru-hull serves both
- UL and CE listed
Good to know
The Bait Sentry is not self-priming: mount it below the waterline. Put a Shurflo 1/2" raw water strainer ahead of it to keep weed and shell out.
