Isotherm 2501 Compact Classic Air-Cooled Refrigeration System - U200X000R11111AB

The Isotherm Compact Classic 2501 turns an existing top- or side-loading ice box into a refrigerator or freezer. It's a fan-cooled, 12/24V DC system built around a Danfoss BD50F compressor, and it arrives complete and pre-charged — no refrigeration tech required. Run it as a fridge on boxes up to 7.1 cu. ft., or as a freezer on boxes up to 2.3 cu. ft.

Installation notes

• Mount the compressor where it gets good ventilation — cool air in from below, hot air out the top. Avoid closed compartments and engine rooms.
• Box insulation matters: about 1¼" foam for boxes around 1.8 cu. ft., 2" for up to 2.8 cu. ft., and 4" or more for larger boxes.
• Plan on at least 75Ah of battery capacity.
