Faria Coral 2" Voltmeter, 10-16 VDC [F13010]

Faria's Coral series 2" voltmeter shows your battery voltage and the general health of your charging system on a 10–16 volt scale. It needs no warm-up and responds to voltage changes instantly, so you can see right away whether your alternator or charger is doing its job — or whether your batteries are running down.

Coral gauges have a black dial with white and blue graphics, a contoured white pointer and a matte black raised aluminum bezel with a brushed silver edge. The dial is lit around the perimeter for night use.

Reading the gauge

• About 12.6–12.8 V with the engine off means a fully charged 12V battery.
• About 13.5–14.5 V with the engine running means the alternator is charging.
• Readings below about 12 V at rest, or no rise when the engine starts, point to a weak battery or a charging problem.
