CorrosionX Corrosion Inhibitor & Lubricant - 6 oz Aerosol (90101)

CorrosionX is a corrosion inhibitor, lubricant and penetrant in one can. It bonds to bare metal, pushes out water and salt, and leaves a thin film that keeps rust from starting or spreading. Why boaters use it

• Stops rust and corrosion on steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass and bronze
• Lubricates under heavy load and keeps working in rain and salt spray
• Penetrates seized nuts, bolts and fittings, often in minutes
• Safe on electronics: displaces water and leaves a self-healing film that does not block electrical contact
• Stops galvanic corrosion (electrolysis) between different metals
• Zero VOC, and safe on plastics, rubber, paint and seals

Where to use it

Outboard and inboard engines, generators, battery terminals, electrical connectors and panels, trailers, winches, windlasses, hinges, locks, fishing reels and firearms. A light coat on an engine once a year in salt water (every other year in fresh water) keeps it protected.

Good to know

CorrosionX stays wet and does not dry hard. For metal that sits out in the weather or gets hit by spray, such as trailers and deck hardware, CorrosionX HD is the thicker, dripless version. For anything that needs grease, use CorrosionX Grease.
